EVERYBODY NEEDS THE LORD

I. There Are Mixed Messages About What We Need
  A. Jn 3:16 says God SO loved the World that he gave his only begotten son
  B. Why? so that we may have everlasting life
  C. The World's message is we need everything but the Lord
  D. Get money, pleasure for there is no tomorrow

II. Four Questions Only The Lord Can Answer
  A. What is the meaning of my Life?
     i) what am I doing here ?
     ii) are we to fight to get everything we can and then die like the animals of the field
     iii) Christians are to be disciples ( copies of Christ ) who show their love for others ( Lk 14; Jn 13:35 )
     iv) Christians serve others ; we use our Talents for others ( Jn 12:26 )
     v) Ecc 12 says God will bring our Deeds into Judgment
  B. What do I do with my sins?
     i) all have sinned and sin must be paid for ( Rom 12 )
     ii) man has a conscience and we remember
     iii) the World says it's OK time will fix it - everybody sins
     iv) only Jesus' blood can wash our sins away ( Rev 1:5; Acts 2:38 )
  C. What Am I Going To Do About Death?
     i) we try not to think about death but life forces us to think of death
     ii) everyone from Adam received a death sentence
    iii) Heb 9:7 it is appointed unto man once to die and then the Judgement
    iv) no one but Jesus ever offered a path for Eternity  ( Jn 14:6; Jn 11:25 )
  D. What am I going to do about Eternity?
     i) Jesus said he was going to prepare a place and we would be with him forever ( Jn 14:2 )
     ii) God has his Family on Earth ( Church ) and in Heaven
     ii) being a Christian and worshipping/living together should be a small taste of Heaven

III. Take Homes
   A. Jesus is the answer to life; sin; death; and Eternity
   B. No one else even claims to have these answers
   C. How do you stand with Jesus?
