Do You Believe I Am Able To Do This ?
Matt 9: 28

I. Jesus And The Blind Men - Mt 9: 27 - 30
   A. The Lord asked if they believed he had the power to heal them
   B. They responded " Yes Lord "
   C. The Lord said " According to your FAITH let it be "
   D. Our faith directly affects the blessings from God ; often we THINK God can help but we
struggle believing it

II. Four Assurances From God
   A. Heb 7: 25 - he is able to " completely " save those that come in faith ; he lives to intercede for us
      i) in the O.T. sins were not forgiven - they were rolled from year to year
      ii) Jesus' sacrifice paid the price for sin
      iii) when he saves , he saves completely
      iv) repentance is often a process rather than a 180 turnaround
      v) he intercedes ( falls in line ) with  you
   B. Heb 2:18 - because he suffered when he was tempted , he is able to help those that are tempted
      i) Jesus was under the greatest attack from Satan - Mt 4
      ii) since our Lord understands what we are going through , he empathizes ( since he has been in
our place ) and knows how we feel
      iii) cast ALL your cares on him for he cares for you - I Pet 5:7
   C. Eph 3:20 -  he is able to do immeasurably more than we ask according to his power
      i) sometimes we don't see how its happening
      ii) Satan uses delay to challenge our faith
      iii) when the Lord acts ,  his solution can be better than we ever thought or asked
   D. Jude 24 - he is able to keep you from falling
      i) the Church is flesh / hands for the Lord ; we encourage and help ( act like Jesus )
      ii) all of us are blind and need help in some area - we need help from the Lord and his people

III. Conclusions
   A. The key to the Lord helping is we believe he can - REALLY believe
   B. These are four of the Lord's great promises regarding his promise to help and support us
   C. Do we believe Him ?
